Core Facility Cell Imaging and Ultrastructure Research

The groups "Cell Physiology and Scientific Film Lab" and "Electron Microscopy Lab" combined and form a center where the instrumentations for electron microscopy, video- and fluorescence microscopy ("life cell imaging") as well as for scientific documentation are maintained and actualized, where colleagues get competent technical and scientific advice and where, closely interconnected with the departments of the Biocenter Althanstrasse, common work about various topics is possible. In addition, we want to teach students in the skills of our research by lectures and lab courses so that they can do the reseach of their projects with us.
