Services
We provide on-demand services in transmission and scanning electron microscopy from sample preparation to imaging and elemental analysis. Typical samples include whole organisms, tissue sections, cells and extracellular vesicles, bacteria, viruses and organic or anorganic nano particles which can be preserved for imaging in various ways including high pressure freezing (cryoimmobilization of (sub)cellular structures).

CIUS -
Support
Introductory sessions and training to autonomously use our equipment are mandatory and provided based on individual needs. We further support our clients with technical advice and recommendations on preparatory or imaging techniques as well as on experimental planning and imaging data interpretation. We are happy to contribute on a collaborative basis if your samples require major protocol adaptations or method development
